There is a development snapshot of chardev 10 available build on the MoP beta client files (b15650). Most work went into updating chardev's database and the tools required to parse the game files. Also a new spell description parser was implemented, replacing the naive approach of chardev 1-9 by an AST.
Link: http://mop.chardev.org/Planner.html The current to-do list includes determining base stats for levels 86 to 90, updating the stat calculation to reflect game mechanic changes and adding the pandaren. Martin,
Probably a silly question, but do the recent updates and your MOP beta chardev mean that chardev is once again under active development? If so, great news... I only hope you have the time, funds, and patience to keep it going for awhile longer. It is way ahead of all the rest out there. Thanks for your hard work. |

SimulationCraft will hopefully have the 86->90 stats soonish for all classes so you can grab them off us if need be.
Would still really, really like it if your MoP profiler let you choose a specialisation. It's the only thing holding us back from adding support for it to our MoP branch of SimulationCraft (and creating our profiles with it). |

Just a note of an issue I noticed while trying to create a hunter profile using the MoP version- currently none of the ranged weapons are showing up when I try to select a weapon (probably because it hasn't been updated to allow all ranged weapons to be selected for the melee slot). You may already know about this issue, but I thought I'd report it in case.
