I guess the main question you're asking yourself and me is, whether chardev will be updated and if when. The answer is simply yes. I'm working on it, but as I was in the progress of an recode to include some better javascript techiques, now, instead of replacing some modules, I find myself in the process of replacing the whole code, simply modifying would possibly work, but i'm not going to update the old files, just to recode them short time after.
The approach is admirable, I guess, but time consuming, and time is something I never seem to have. However, what am I doing at the moment, what is and what is to be done? Done: -the chardev database reflects the changed gamefiles and the php-based Ajax interface is up to date. The main object (Items, Spells, Enchants, Character, Race, Class, ... ) are remodeled and reflecting the changes made in 4.0.1 - a simple Version of chardev is running in a local environment, supporting basic tasks, as selecting rece/class, equipping items and gems, selecting talents or importing from the armory Missing are: - the multi-character support, save/load, Enchanting, Reforging, Glyphs, Buffs, Sets, Mastery support and the whole calculation engine Working at: - Calculation Engine and Armory Import I'll release an early alpha version, later next week, not including all functions but the basics, meaning a accurate calculation, armory import, selection of items/enchants/gems and Reforging. - LeMartin |

Thank you so much for working on this. I really appreciate it. Especially now, after this huge patch, I really like to try stuff out first BEFORE I acquire an item. Your site is very valuable.

Really appreciate you upgrading Chardev to reflect 4.0.1 LeMartin.
Can't imagine WoW without it now and i will echo what others say, this is easily the best profiler site available in my opinion. |

Hi, could you back-up an old 335a version of chardev, as I like to continue using your tool, because its great, but Im currently playing private servers, which run 335a (partly because they are free, but mainly because I dont like Cata, feel free to troll.).
Would be great, if you could provide an old pre-Cata version of this tool if it isnt too much of inconvenience for you. Thank you. sofar, forthelichking |
